Meet Jim and Connie Long, the ultimate farm-to-table power couple! 🍴 Both were raised on family farms, where they developed a deep appreciation for the land and a passion for sustainable living. Jim grew up on a small farm less than 10 miles from their current operation, where he learned the ins and outs of raising beef cattle, sheep, pigs, and poultry. Connie, on the other hand, grew up on a large dairy farm in Pennsylvania, where she developed a strong work ethic and a love for the great outdoors. πŸ„

Their adult lives took them on an incredible journey, with Jim serving in the US Airforce and Connie pursuing a successful career as a food service executive. πŸŒΎπŸ’šBut despite their many accomplishments, the call of the land remained strong, and they eventually returned to their roots to pursue their true passion: sustainable farming. 🌟Their mission is simple yet powerful: to provide their community with the best produce and protein options possible, while promoting environmentally and sustainable practices. 🌎

Part of their vision is to be an educational example for others to follow, showcasing the benefits of sustainable farm practices and inspiring a new generation of farmers to follow in their footsteps. They believe that the small family farm of old can make a comeback, and they’re committed to leading the way.
